This is a wonderful tribute to Gabriel! I'm sur his spirit is with you always and proud of you for keeping his memory alive and helping others to be aware of this kind of danger.
Take care.

I wanted to thank you for sharing Gabriel's life with us. I'm a high school teacher and I promise to do everything I can to make sure that people are educated about this harmful "game".

Since running across your web site last year, I have heard, seen, and read a lot more about this "game" -- like on Dr. Phil. Was that you on the show, by the way? The word is getting out there, slowly but surely. Some kids will listen; some kids won't. But you are making a difference by helping spread the word and surely saving lives. I am so deeply saddened for your loss and will keep you in my prayers. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF! Honor your son's memory by going on with your life. I am sure that is what any loving son would want. Remember the good times with him.

Gabe was truly a wonderful person. He probably never talked about me, but I counted him as one of my closest friends. I was a grade behind him in school, and I always looked up to him as sort of an older brother. I was, and still am, deeply saddened by his death.
I'm sure that he's proud of your efforts to tell people about this Choking Game, ad warn them of the dangers. There is no doubt in my mind that you have helped save the lives of more than a few children.
God bless you.

I am so sorry about your son, He was very cute.
I am twelve years old, and I live in NM. I am doing a project report about the choking game for the health fair at my school, and I need a few testimonies for my project. If I may please have permission to use your son as an example so no other kids will end up like him and others, it will be a great help. Thank you and I am a very eligable pen pal. :)

I am so sorry to hear about your son. I just out from the Early Show. I am a high school student and honestly, this was the first I have heard of the "game". It is extremely tragic and heartbreaking that there are kids out there doin this for fun. I really appreciate everything that you are doing to stop this and teach kids that this isn't right.
Though I did not know your son, I am sure you are making him proud and proving how much you care.
Thank you for all you are doing. Stay strong.
